Who makes a good algae brush/scrapper for glass. It would be so much easier/cleaner/faster to use a stick-like brush on my nano. My magnetic one works great but splashes and I have a little less control near the sand. Tank is 12” tall so something in the 15-18” range would keep my hands dry. Reading reviews and seems a lot of them are flimsy and break. Anyone have one they like using? Looking more for a brush then razor but if it has a razor attachment that’s fine.

Brushes i just use a pack from amazon of dish dish brushes. And they second as pump and skimmer cleaners too.

for glass i just really like my flipper lol. Every now and then i replace the blade on it. All my stick cleaners end up missing spots and take me longer to clean with. I stopped buying them.

I’ve always used magnets. Currently have an algae free piranha. It def works. But this is my first shallow tank and the piranha does splash a bit when I’m near the top. I think I could avoid some if that if I could just use a stick.

After trying many brushes and magnets, there is no better one than the flipper. Has a pad on one side and a blade on the other. Gives tremendous control without having to worry about getting sand between the magnet and the glass. I don't have any issues with splashing but I am careful near the surface.
