Algae Clip

How do you all attach your algae to your algae clip? Do you take a whole sheet and fold it into 4ths? Or fold in half?
Curious as to how you do it. I fold mine into 4ths, and somehow big chunks are still able to break away and float around the tank and then down to the filter sock they go and get wasted.

I only use about a quarter sheet at a time. I fold it until half is in the clip and half is out. When they've eaten down to the clip, I turn it so most of what's left is exposed. Don't seem to loose too much that way. If I'm feeling generous, I'll do it again.

I fold and tear into 4ths.

Something different that worked well for the fish, fold in half and made cuts across the algae to make strips the fish could easily tear off and eat like a noodle. Worked very well.

I use a piece about half my palm size. I cut little strips they can tear off.
