Algae Coming Out of Dead Bumblebee Snail

Can anyone help identify this algae growing out of this snail shell? Tank is 2 months old. Thanks!

I thought it was alive for a bit before I realized it was dead. It’s been dead for at least 3 weeks now though. I thought it would be good for the other bumblebee’s to be able to eat, should I remove snails when they die vs letting bumblebees eat them?

Did I get lucky with free chaeto? Or is it something like bryopsis?
