Algae control with Glycophosate?

Im wondering if the common pesticide glycophosate could be dosed to kill algae? Probably it would kill coral too unfortunately or no?

I wonder if gfo/ lanthanum chloride or aluminum oxide would also bind it when you want it out?

What are your thoughts?

Actually its a bad idea for coral, they will bleach

I agree it doesn't sound like a good idea.
