This old limpet shell (or whatever it is) has rings of green growth with a particular pattern. Glows under blue too. Any ideas what it may be? Just part of the shell, algae, or something else?

Thanks!

Oh! So this is not a limpet shell then!? Brilliant! :D there's me thinking it was just an old shell that happened to glow haa yay! Now I need to start treating it like a coral rather than decor lol thanks!

Low-mod flow and lighting is that right? My first sps coral :)

I would go medium on both. Find leptos like flow to keep crap off em and medium lighting they will grow better. Grats on the new coral. Come as a hitchiker on this shell?

Thanks! I'd bought the tank some months back and this was just attached to the rocks. Never thought much about it but noticed it growing more lately so thought I'd query it.
