Carbon reactor, protein skimmer. Ethereal led lighting.

It starts of as a the pictures then will come up ward in strings however stays thin. Tank was cycled for two months with no issue installed my lights then my rocks and sand started to brown. Seems to stay pretty low at this point. Any ideas?

Hard to tell. Could be just be new tank uglies. Do you have a microscope. That’s a great way to id things

Well it appears to have recessed and almost gone on it’s own
 
Definitely diatoms. Great food source for microbial organisms, pods, and snails. Don't disrupt it, you'll be thankful in the long run ;)
 
Looks like diatoms! They will go away on their own with time. Be patient.
