Ok my tank is starting to get little spots of algae on the glass due to sunlight hitting it. My levels read fine
0 nitrates
0 phosphates
0 ammonia
My issue is how do I get rid of it? I don't want my tank to appear unhealthy I appreciate any help in advance

Sure algae can grow due to any light source but sunlight doesn't create the spores which the algae grows from. Your NO3 and Po4 readings are zero because you have a source consuming them. Remove the algae and the problem will return. So we need to find the problem and fix it.

Let us know your feeding schedule etc.

Everyone gets some build up on the glass, ya just wipe it down once a week.
Or ya put up a blinder to keep that morning or afternoon sun off of it. Then remove it when the suns not hitting it.

Sounds good I think I'm going to switch back to my aquac remora skimmer I just have to mod my sump to hold it. I'm using a marineland pro 100 and its not making me happy

I like my Bubble Magus after the pump upgrade. Does a fantastic job however the skimmer could use less water for a dryer skim.

Aquac Remora are good skimmers too.

IF you changed something change it back and see if it is fixed. The slightest change can cause an issue.

Is this the HOB skimmer? maybe hang it off the back of your tank to see if this changes anything.

What lighting do you have ?
how old are your lights T-5's ? led how long do you have them on ?
