Algae eating away at SPS coral

I seem to have some type of Algae that is eating away at my sps corals. If I take a frag normally it would heal over pretty quickly but what seems to be happening now is that this algae takes hold on the wound and actually starts eating away at the coral tissue and spreading. Normally the coral tissue should win and it would heal over but not with this stuff. I am starting to loose frags and colonies to this stuff.

Has anybody seen anything like this before?

I know I have small amounts of dino's in the tank and recently got rid of cyano. MY nutrients are not crazy high, nitrates about 5ppm and phosphate are around 0.1 to 0.12. I don't really like messing with the nutrients too much because every time I do I end up causing more harm than good.

I have attached some pics to show you. Also a few frag plugs seem to get really covered in algae but my rocks dont. I dont have a GHA problem anywhere else in the tank.

No, i got rid of them because they never had any effect on phosphates and nitrates were near undetectable. Also ever seemed to stop algae growing on frag plugs.

The only "algae" I've ever seen eat away at corals was Coraline and only if something was off in the tank, such as T5s due for a change. If your corals are not doing well and you get a bit of STN, those spots will sometimes grow algae. But once you get things back in check, the coral should heal itself.

Someone else has suggested it could be bacterial and that is what is stopping the coral's healing and then allowing the algae to grow. If it is bacterial what can i do about it?
