Anyone know of an algae destroyer that is not a tang or foxface (All of mine got accustomed to eating Brine, Mysis, Various pellets, Etc so they don't eat algae). Also, it must get larger than 6" in order to survive in my tank, thanks.

Too small unfortunatelyStarry Blenny may be a contender...
If things are getting bigger than 6 inches in your tank, why not a tang that actually eats algae or a fox face. And obviously any fish you get is going to eat the same thing as the other fish.Anyone know of an algae destroyer that is not a tang or foxface (All of mine got accustomed to eating Brine, Mysis, Various pellets, Etc so they don't eat algae). I have 14 tangs, 2 of which are bristletooth, and 4 foxfaces. None of them consistently eat algae. I'm looking for a different species now.If things are getting bigger than 6 inches in your tank, why not a tang that actually eats algae or a fox face. I think you’re going to be best off with Mexican, turbo, snails and urchins thenI have 14 tangs, 2 of which are bristletooth, and 4 foxfaces. None of them consistently eat algae. I'm looking for a different species now.
Inverts are a no go. Sharks don't seem to appreciate themI think you’re going to be best off with Mexican, turbo, snails and urchins then
Sharks eat urchins ?Inverts are a no go. Sharks don't seem to appreciate them
Not sure if the shark would necessarily eat the urchin, but it could pose a potential risk to the shark. Anyways wouldn't want an urchin annoying my corals either. I'm looking specifically for an algae eating fish.Sharks eat urchins ?
The sea hare is close to 6 inches, mine is!Manatee?
Not really a fish, but neither an invert and usually larger then 6".
Sharks ( with maybe an exception of Tiger shark) would not bother manatee either.
Yeah I have a sea hare and a fighting conch. I'm looking for something that can reach the glass and top of the rocks. The sea hare is close to 6 inches, mine is!
Nope just 2 protein skimmers and a Fluval F6.do you have a refugium?
Ah, snails probably are a good bet them for that. Surprised the bristletooth tangs dont do that, my tangs all eat stuff from those places! Spoiled fish lolYeah I have a sea hare and a fighting conch. I'm looking for something that can reach the glass and top of the rocks.
Snails don't last long. Something preys upon them. Yeah the kole and blue spot tangs did eat the algae when they first came to my tank but not anymore.Ah, snails probably are a good bet them for that.
