Hi Friends,

Anyone using this pellet food? Aqua Forest Algae Feed S

I bought this for my baby blue tang but got confused by reading this description -

"This granulated feed is ideal for freshwater tropical plant eating fish such as Blue Tang..."

But I should be able to feed my Blue Tang (Paracanthurus hepatus) with this right?

Excellent pellet feed for ornamental herbivorous fish, especially Tangs. It allows for proper development and resistance to disease. AF Algae Feed S is made up of 7 algae varieties. In addition, it has been fortified with phytoplankton, minerals and vitamins to form a complete balanced diet for all types of fish. We recommend feeding in small portions several times a day. Product intended for aquarium use only. Not suitable for human consumption. Keep away from children.

Composition: Algae, fish derivatives, minerals, oils and fats.

Analytical constituents: 19,10% protein, 4,66% fat, 1,10% fiber, 29,10% ash, 31,60% humidity, calcium 2,2%, calcium min. 1,80%, phosphorus 0,37%.

Additives: Vitamin A 15000 IU / kg, vitamin D3 3000 I.U./kg, vitamin E 1000 I.U./kg, vitamin C 1000 mg / kg.
