So my algae is starting to get out of control

Phosphate .5
Nitrate 0
Nitrite 0

My algae is getting really bad. I don’t know what to do. I added chemiclean didn’t work like everyone said it would. It’s getting really bad should I just add a ton of turbo and nassarius snails? 10-20 each? I lowered my feeding less waste from fresh etc. skimmer is working it’s butt off tho hard core. What should I do

I would invest in a new test kit. What is your lighting schedule? Have you tried a 3 day blackout?

Without knowing more about your setup, I would try to minimize nutrient input as much as reasonably possible (don't overfeed) and maximize nutrient export. Personally, I find macroalgae (chaeto and dragon's breath in a refugium, dragon's breath and some ornamental gracilaria in the main tank) to be easy and highly effective (but there are certainly many ways to approach this). Test kits, while potentially helpful, can also be misleading as sometimes excess nutrients are taken up by nuisance algae before getting into the main water column (and therefore being detectable). I would look at nuisance algae as a sign of imbalance (too much input, not enough output, or both). I would read both articles by Randy on this and decide which approach(es) you think would best fit your tank. Think of grazing animals and algaecidal chemicals as temporary solutions while you correct the underlying imbalance.

Common techniques would be: add macroalgae in a refugium with a strong light (a 24 watt PAR38 plant grow bulb on a reverse daylight timer works well for me), algae reactor or scrubber, carbon dosing +/- skimming, GFO. Many people combine more than one of these
