I'll say bad. Do you have any snails in your tank? Mexican Turbos, trochus, margarita snails work wonders.

If algea is growing something is going wrong somewhere

Can you post your water parameters for us?

Yes, I do have snails. just 2 trochus. all others stays bellow the surface.

My water params -

KH - 9
Mg - 1380
Ca - 450
Nitrate - around 50 but im using NOPOX
Nitrite/Ammonia - 0
Phosphate - very little amt

+ i do 25% water change every 2 weeks (using RODI + redsea salt)

Stop the nopox as you don’t want to strip the Po4 to nothing. With the no3 that high a water change is the best bet.
Nopox will also feed other organisms like filter feeders sponges a s bryozoans. Algae too.
Toothbrush and snails for the green stuff.

Hi thank you for the reply. i know the topic got changed but i'd like to clarify something about nitrate issue... i literally did 50% water change every single week but still had high nitrate levels. after using NOPOX it's reduced a lot. Should i really stop using this product?

Thanks

Yes. Like salty stated you are also stripping the phosphate which you have a good level of.
