Hi,

I have a small zoa I bought recently. It only has 10-12 small heads and was opened up nicely after first getting into the tank. I have small patches of brown hair algae in the tank but very small and maybe only 3-4 of them but it has got into my zoa and I don't know how to get it out. I tried picking up the coral and pulling it off but I can't really get in there, then did a big water change but it's not affecting it. Anyone have any ideas that have worked for them or do I have to just go with several water changes before it starts going away?

Thanks in advance

Dip it in 50% Hydrogen Peroxide and 50% tank water and let it dip in there for 2 minuets. The Zoa will be fine and the algae will die

That won't hurt the zoa? 50% seems like a high ratio, but if this is a proven method I will definitely try it.

Thanks for your help
