I got this little frag which since day 1 came with a little dark line. Later I found out this was actually where hair algae was growing.

I have macros, so vibrant or any other chemical is out of consideration.
Lowering nutrients it's not an option.

My cuc cleans it from time to time, but it keeps growing back.

Do you guys have any other idea now to fight against it?

Is removing it to hand scrub it an option?
Yes it's possible. I did couple of times but it's like mowing the lawn, it always grow back since it's a very small spot I'm afraid of end up destroying coral tissue.

I was hoping this would be fix by only giving time to the coral grow over that region, but it's in fact slowing down it's development.

Do not scrub or peroxide- these guys are delicate. Take a dental pick or similar and remove the strands. A few carribean blue leg hermits which are tiny would also help
