I bee. Having this frag tank up arpund 6 months and this red algae is growing on my sump is it good or bad?

I would get some hermit to live there.

I would dump most of the chaeto and rinse out the rest in some clean water.

Should I just dump it all out and put some new chaeto?

New chaeto if you have it. It's called cotton candy/red turf algae. I found an article that might help.
