Hey reefers,
Have been battling green hair algae for the past 6 weeks and it has almost been completely cleared out of my tank as of today. I am still left with some type of algae which is growing on my clam that looks kind of like a weed. Can anyone identify what type of algae it is and how I could remove it?

It looks like hair algae to me. It could be bryopsis but I really can't tell (and usually its just hair algae). I also think I see some sea lettuce on the left. Use blue life flux rx. It works in a few weeks but make sure to follow directions. Flux RX works great on certain hair algaes and bryopsis.

OMG where's the clam? things probably going choked to death. Should started picking off when first seen

Looks like Bypropsis. Pull off as much as you can being very delicate with presence of Clam. Flux (fluconasal) should work but go lower dosage with clam in tank.

Did you end up dosing it ?? I have a similar situation currently.im just worried about losing my clam.
