I'm guessing this is some sort of algae growth. The tank has been fallow for 60 days. I've done a bunch of water changes while the fish are in the hospital tank. Here are my parameters: Ph 8.19, Alk-10, Nitrates 5, SG 1.024. I've been dosing 15ml of H2O2 once in morning and once at night. Also dosing 2ml of vodka once a day. I will be getting a phosphate test kit Saturday. Thoughts on this growth.

also, your entire dynamic can be changed in your favor by reversing something.

Take every action on your tank in the noninvaded condition, currently you are applying all actions to the invaded condition. To go noninvaded, you hand siphon out the tank every day such that at no times can you see the invasion because it was just removed (lucky you have a non holdfast invader)

take all chemical actions in that state=game changer. along with good id, you can also win bigtime without even knowing species just by applying the game changer mod.

i dosed Chemclean 2 weeks ago to get rid of the spirulina that was on my rocks. This came after the dose that and has been building for the last week. doubling in the tank.

agreed but technically that wasn't the mod. you didn't hand remove it initially, you chemically suppressed it for it to bounce back. my guaranteed fix is work heavy, you have to siphon it out. and now it w be a few times, not just once, due to catchup while you do these peroxide treatments.

This system works amazing I promise. Chemiclean doesn't clear up tanks all time time, simple suppression vs real removal was the likely confound there. hand siphoning is not suppression its true biomass removal, then your dilutions and treatments are amplified not because you added more, but because you made smaller the target mass.

using chemicals vs hand siphoning is the problem so far. all tank invasions should be met with hand removal first, then any fix afterwards. the reason we don't do that as a hobby is because all the old methods don't state that as an option. we get that option from the large peroxide correction threads, working gold here and there.
