Hello. Assuming that your tank is young, you are going through the ugly stage. At this point I wouldn't reccomend looking into filters that reduce nitrates, it will disrupt the balance in a young tank, and in my experience, will supercharge algaes which feed off of inbalance in water. If you must in the future get a protein skimmer if you don't have one. If you don't have corals cut down on lighting. Add in some cuc. A conch will stir the sandbed but thats about it. Astrea snails, margarita snails, trochus snails, cerith snails, blue leg hermits, red leg hermits, will work. Trochus will eat cyano (which is nearly inevitable in the future. Hope this helps
