Algae help needed

I need help identifying the algae. I been testing the phosphates and nitrates. The latest was 0.13 for phosphates and 35 for nitrates. I am dosing 2ml of Red Sea NO PO X everyday. I am also running a refugium with Chaeto.

I am relatively new and have been topping off with treated tap water but am going to switch over to treated distilled.

Any help is appreciated?

35 nitrates is extremely high, definitely looks like aiptasia, a peppermint shrimp would have a field day in there. But other people will know more than me

That is aipstasia for sure. No amount of nopox or water change will help you.

It is a brownish red color. I don’t have a magnifier to get a clearer picture.

Aiptasia x is a good bet

Wouldn’t hurt but I can promise it solves the issue

I have not had good luck with biological removal ie any of the shrimp or fish they are so so. Take the rock out and manually remove them as much as possible use dental picks. Rinse the rock in a bucket of tank water. Even if you get them "all" youll get more as they're all over your tank at this point. Maybe a file fish that was the best I had ever tried.

I think they’ve taken over too much and I’m probably going to replace the rock. Any risk of taking the all the rock out and slowly adding more back in?

Well thats where your biological filter is. If you add new before you take out old you will get them on the new rock.
