Algae help! Nitrates at 0 too!

I added Vibrant at the recommended dosage (for highly maintained tanks) 8 days ago. Yesterday, I noticed almost of the green algae 'haze' I allowed to grow on one of the panes was gone. No visible effect on the Valonia though. One of the Acans had withdrawn after initial dosage, but it is back fatter than ever (and I noticed 3 new polyps were sprouting.) No apparent effect on the other 30-something corals in the tank. Purple calcareous algae looks good too. Since this is a product containing bacteria (and supposedly eating waste in the tank) I though phosphorus and/or nitrate wold rise - they didn't (0.01 and 0.6 ppm, respectively.)

why would they rise if anything it would be like carbon dosing. It would bind and export via skimmer.

Vibrant's ad copy says it can stop algae growths and clean a 'dirty, grungy' aquarium. I assumed these materials would be catabolized, possibly releasing nitrogen and phosphorus. In addition, this product contains 5,000 ppm vinegar and 10,000 ppm amino acids. Testing for N and P would help me understand (or not) the impacts this product has.
On another note, I have a small Goniopora and patches of Bryopsis on a frag plug. I have been removing this from the tank and plucking the nuisance algae away with tweezers. It was time to do this again but this morning I noticed the Bryopsis has practically disappeared.

So basically feeding the bacteria with the aminos then adding the vinegar to help break down nitrate and phosphate so it can be exported. Pretty concentrated stuff it seems.
