Algae help!

Hello everyone, my IM 15 gallon that has been running for 2 months now is starting to go through the new tank syndrome. I have this brown algae that is growing around my rockwork but especially on this rock. It is stringy, and brown but it also looks dark red. My fowlr’s new tank syndrome has only been Cyanobacteria as of right now, I am starting to get these bright green spots tho. I added my first coral yesterday and I’m just a lil paranoid the algae will lead up towards the coral, or anything like that. What are some things I can do to get rid of this algae, or help the new tank syndrome lol. As you can see in the pictures it’s mainly on one side of the rock but spreading and it is very stringy.

It sounds like it could be cyano from what you describe. The tiny brown spots on the white portions of the rock are normal algae growth.
