And other then removing rocks, was considering using Hydrogen Peroxide to see about removing it. But was wondering. I have Cheto in my fuge, would the H2O2 also kill it off as well? (Assuming, yes?)

I'm assuming it's Caulerpa. I've also tried kalk paste to nuke it to paste. It seems to have worked (maybe) on small patches. But as you expect it messes with my pH...

Thoughts?

Since the original post. I have nuked the two worst rocks with H2O2 outside of the tank. But I still have some areas on other rocks I can't get too easily.

It does look like caulerpa. As for getting rid of it its extremely hard to get the roots out of lr. Best way i know of is to starve it out. Tangs will eat it also. I have it in my tank and cant ever seam to keep it all out but my sail fin eats all he can find.

it is caulerpa and you will be hard pressed to get rid of it. killing it will only make things worse for your tank as it will overload your tank with nutrients and creat worse problems

Well, I nuked my most affected rock with H2O2 outside of the tank, and a few smaller rocks that I could get out. I do try to pick it out when I can. But it's very tight to the rock and hard to get a hold of.

I do have a Kole Tang. But I don't think he's really bother with it. My Pencil Urchin gives me nice clean spts. But the dude seems to just mow one spot! I was considering a Tuxedo or Pincushion Urchin on my next order. Think they'd help?

My Phosphates stay under 0.06ppm and Nitrates are around 2.0 to 5.0ppm. I have a fuge full of Cheto that is growing like mad. Trimming every 2 weeks.

Tangs are hit and miss on what they will eat also depending on the type of tang. Thats why I went with the sail fin. Ive never had a urchin so I cant give ya any advice there, but im sure someone on here can. Try to up your water changes some also to get out more of the nutrients out of your water. Like i mentioned in my first post the best way to get rid of it is to starve it out,

i put some of that same calerpa in my dt and my urchin mowed it down overnight
