Hi only been reefing 3 months, can anyone give me information on the following images….. Thank-you in advance…..

One image I have some green colour on sand the next looks a bit like a skin of deep purple….. If you zoom in on center of the next image you can see something like a dandelion seed blowing around….. thanks

Thinking center of last picture is a fan worm
 
Assume green on sand is a type of algae; deep purple is probably cyanobacteria. Last pic may be a feather duster - research that plus hydroids and you'll probably identify it.

Is it best to remove the feather duster manually?

I buy them for my tanks. Completely harmless, interesting in it's own right, adds biodiversity, gives your tank a more natural look etc., etc. I'd consider it a lucky find
