Algae ID, and possible cure

This algae has been growing, I've never seen this before and not sure what I can do about it.

Not 100% sure but I think that is cyano. When I had it. if I let it grow long enough It would start to look like that. Not quite that purple but it would start to grow and flow like that. Also have a bit of an aptaisia problem going there.

Yes, yes. I do, dang things are getting outa hand. I have added the nudis that eat them, added some peppermint shrimp, and my LFS ordered a Copperband.
 
I think it may just be cyano under a very flattering light setup....but that growth form is way cool It's like the rock is shooting it out of that hole in strings!
 
It came off easily with a tooth brush and siphon. It's all gone now. Small pieces may come back but seems it can come off real easy, no problem.
