Please help me I'd what this is. My only guess is dinos but it still kinds doesn't look to be dinos. It's rust colored, kinda slimey, doesn't come off with a scrubber, when I scrub it the little bit of a slime coating comes off but still there. Seems to have spread from some live rock. It's been there for a few months now but getting worse now. Thanks

It does not, if you scrape it with your nail a tiny bit come off, it also has a little what looks like fuzz on it

Yes I did have some cyano while back, most of it has subsided after adding more flow, a skimmer and doing a 3 day blackout about a month back.

Ok, I'm going to assume that's better than having dinos, but it is spreading quite rapidly over the past few weeks, and idea what type of algae? Or what I can do to get it under control?

Anyone lol? Don't want to get lost here, I know it's Saturday

Your not lost we all keep an eye out ;)
It is almost impossible to ID and algae like that by looking at it with the eye.
Have to get MUCH closer ;)
