Algae ID hoping not dinos

Hey alll you reefers need some help id'ing this algae.

Only have this pic for now can add more and microsopic pic as well later.

Sounds like dino's. They are usually associated with bubbles. There are a couple good threads on here about dino's.
 
Do hermuts eat them because i out some in and started eating it so mught be something else
 
Ya pretty new only few months in.
At this point pretty sure not dinos.

Clean up crew has been good job lately cleaning up. Also did some manual removal.

What's been really awesome is put few frags down in the sand and the cuc completely cleaned all the algae off.

I would suspect Dinos and unfortunately, nothing will eat them. They will live on any phytoplankton present.
 
Cool id thatsthe case just let it run its course
 
Do you have a microscope or able to access one?
If it is dinoflagellates then getting to the end of the course will be difficult. I don't like to speculate without identification but you can stay on top of manual removal as a first step.
I have been gone for a few years and not sure of the status of mine or Carrolls threads on this problem.
