Bryopsis.
Peroxide works great. But it will come back after a week or so.I just peroxide dipped the frag, hopefully that'll get it under control
Any idea what algae this is and what I can do to get rid of it. I really only see it on this one frag.

Yes you can successfully treat it. But if you do nothing else but that it will come back. Peroxide will only remove the gha not the causeIf the right steps are taken it will not come back. I've successfully treated a frag using only H2O2 and a pair of tweezers.

Thanks. I used a tweezer to grab what I could (outside of the tank). I then did a 50/50 mix of tank water and H2O2 and dipped the whole rock/plug into the mix for 4 minutes. I rinsed off in tank water and placed back in the tank. I didn't leave it exposed to air. I'll keep an eye on it, if I think it's not working I might ditch the whole frag like you say. It's weird it's only on that frag. I've had it for 6 months and it just started showing up a month ago.
Well where else was he going to put it.The cause was putting it in the tank![]()
