My tank is just 1.5minth old since cylced. I had an algae bloom and very confused if its Diatoms or Cyano. So I put a sample under my son’s microscope. What do you think?
Thanks

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

The first and second photos look like diatoms to me. The common Cyanobacteria forms long filaments that you can actually see moving slowly.
