Algae ID Microscope photo Square shell with round nucleus

Hi All,

Can someone more versed in the art of biology help me identify this algae I have. I thought at first it might be diatoms but I'm not sure.

It presents itself as a brown slimy coating on green hair. Sounds like dinos but doesn't look like a dino at all under the scope (though they are present in small quantities)

But it isn't exactly that.

Either way, guess I should turn down my silicate dosing! Thank god it's not dinos
