i have an algae growing wildly in my display. Very frustrating but I need additional confirmation please. I believe it is a Dino but I don’t know what kind. And that may help with someone telling me how to get rid of it.

I have done the H2O2 test. While I have some cyano in the tank, the samples of the stuff that has me concerned produced no bubbles.

The photo aren’t the greatest. Some are of 100x and some are 1200x. Did my best. If you need more or better, I can try again. The slides themselves were not the best, so I think the grainy background is the slide.

There are small round “organisms” and long skinny ones. The long skinny ones whip around a bit. The round ones move but more slowly.

Thankful for any replies.

There is a sticky thread that mcarrol has at the top of this forum. It has pictures you can compare.

I read through that but to be honest, I can’t tell the differences between a coolia and an ostreopsis

Perhaps @taricha can point me in the right direction

I not that great either I relayed on them
