Hey everybody happy early Thanksgiving,
What kind of algae is this?
It’s dark grey and looks almost like lint, brushes off very easily but comes back extremely quick.
What is it? And what is a good fix, my hermits don’t seem to touch it.

Hi!
Having a hard time looking at the detail of the photos, will be much easier to id with just the white lights on.

by description it could be Calothrix a type of cyano that grows really well in high phosphate environments. Also check your nitrate levels as it can fix no2, sometimes its possible to get another photosynthetic organism to out compete by keeping no3 detectable.
