Can anyone please identify what algae it is? The pic is the best I can do with my 60x scope.
Water parameters in my 10-gallon tank:
PO4: 0.14
NO3: 0.5
Alkalinity: 8.9-10.4 dkh
Also, my zoas are slowly melting so I intend to increase nitrate by feeding a cube of mysis shrimp every day. Will this fuel the growth of this algae? Thanks a lot.

Your phosphates are high and your nitrates are low. The low nitrates are not great for the Zoas. The high phosphates are likely the cause of your algae bloom. I would siphon up the algae to keep it at bay but unless you stabilize those parameters it is going to grow back.

What is your bio load? Tell us about your fish. Sometimes the answer to adding more nitrate while reducing phosphate is more fish and more filtration without feeding more.

Also, Zoas love Reef Roids. Since you are having phosphate issues, I would target feed only. Although, doing so right now in general is risky because it might feed that algae too much. No easy answer there.

Thanks for the advice! I have a pair of clownfish, a firefish goby, a gold goby, a chromis fish, and nine anemones. Will reduce the phosphate to 0.03 by adding more rowaphos in the media bag and dosing more tm elimi phos rapid.

Here are more recent pics. I have reduced phosphates to 0.03 (hanna) and raised nitrates to 2.5 (salifert). However, some of the zoas as you can see are not fully opened. Is it possible that they are dinos, which release toxins? My turbo snail is dying, not moving and falling off the glass a few days ago. Any suggestion is appreciated.
