Can anyone ID this algae? It looks like some sort of Chaeto and only shows up when nitrates get over zero. However I try to keep nitrate above zero for my corals and its starting to manifest more than I would like.
Looks like the start of a green hair algae patch. Hard to tell with most algaes though. Only real way to prevent them is to keep nutrients low, or have a more aggressive algae in the tank.
