Hi all,
I have a new tank that I set up in July and have had problems with this long stringy/slimy algae. I put some phosphate removing media in the sump and have been waiting for it to go away but it’s been about a month and am still having issues.
It’s green under white light but appears red under blue light. It breaks off easily. My clean up crew seems to be eating other algae and not going after this stuff.
Any tips on how to get rid of it or is it just a matter of patience at this point?
