Do you think some turbos will take care of this? Thinking about adding some to my CUC. Looks like some type of red turf algae. The hermits wiped it out everywhere else except this rock for some reason. The nerites snails won't touch it. There is a Ruby Mithrax Crab in there, but not seen him lately. He was also eating it at one point.

Also, just want to ID this other Algae that hiked the trip from the keys. Finally growing back. Might have to wait for it to get bigger.

#1 is one of the many species of red turf algae. I have never had to battle this algae, but @reefcleaners says that "Emerald Crabs, urchins, sea hares, and large turbos" will eat it.
#2 is a holdfasted species of Sargassum, a decorative species of brown macroalgae.

I got another sprout of the Sargassum popping up behind my green slimer. Looks nice when it matures.
