I've been battling my first ich outbreak and had to turn off my skimmer while I dosed the tank. I didn't do enough water changes, so my nitrates have been higher than normal for a few weeks.
This algae started growing soon after (it grows fast, too!). I was going to remove it all the other night, but was surprised to find that it was very "spongy". Any idea what this is?
