Need help identifying this brown spotted algae. It's tough to scrape off like coraline, but only grows on plastic as seen in the pic of my hydroponic tub/frag tank. It also grows on clear acrylic frag racks.

I have it to in my acrylic frag tank and all you can do is scrape it off.
I had my nutrients for more than a month on 0.0 of course no corals in there but it still kept growing.
With a every other day scrape it will come off pretty easy.
Now I have a glass 60 g cube tank on the same system and it won't grow on there.

It's weird how it only grows on plastic. Not really an issue as its in my frag tank , but my display is on the same system and the only time I saw it in there was on an acrylic frag rack I had in there for a few weeks.

This looks like my algae, I have glass and it grows on the bottom only near my sand. I will take a picture later if there is any left, I cleaned my tank recently.
