Algae?? ID

Hi,

I've been seeing some sort of white hairy type growth in cave areas of rock.

Not sure what it is or what to do with it.

Not sure if this picture shows it good.

Any ideas?

Other than the flame angel tail I can't tell from that pic...

It might just be some type of bacterial mat, but Chrysophytes is another possibility too though.

Yes, a small one. Current tank is JBJ45... a few trochus, a few hermit crabs, some dwarf ceriths and nerites... from reef cleaners.

Thinking I need to update the CUC.
