Could I get an ID on this algae before I panic and do things I shouldn't to my tank!

looks like what happens to Bryo when it dies.
Is there green stuff too? Btro is fern or feather(i can kinda see) but that messed up.

Do I need to try and take a clearer picture?

There is no green algae. I thought this was just brown long hair algae until I started seeing the bubbles around it.

Its pretty weird looking. I only had one similar on a UGLY tank cycle experiment. I wound up brushing cleaning and adding snails. I think I dipped the rock in a peroxide solution.
yea a better pic if you can.
The solution will probably be the same..

Dinos maybe? its long, brown with the air bubbles around it.
could be. or just a slime algae.
Nothing for nothing but most who say dinos are not dinos.(2yrs r2r)

I would only worry if it spread or persists. Probable causes low ph, nutrients, not enough hungry snails..

Well I've been fighting getting my nutrients back up since having to go fallow and my nitrates and phosphates just dropping to 0. I tested the other day and phosphates were finally registering but still fighting to get the nitrates up so they are testable at least. It's a work in progress. I'll check the ph tonight and try and kick the lazy snails into overdrive as well!

Cool. Id hit that with that with tooth brush and go from there.
