What is this algae?
20170418_090717.jpg

maybe a bit of dino's?? or a cyano. But most likely just a slime algae..(like the stuff on the glass)

What would be best way to rid of it??
siphon it. if its a newer tank it's bound to happen, if its a lot in the tank i'd look at a plan b.
do you have a good size n diverse snail crew?

Tank is around 4 months old. I am lacking in snail crew, but have some ordered. I thought about a sea hare. I have an auto water change system that I have now turned off due to some research on dino

How does it feel to the touch? It looks like there's some structure to it IMO, (macro algae) as opposed to Diatoms or Cyanobacteria that would just float away. Whatever it is it should be fairly easy to remove with a siphon or a net. GL.

don't freak out when you read the dino threads. IMO its an easy prob that the snails will take care of for you.
I did an experiment with a tank with no snails. it was eye opening.

I have experimented with h202 which wipes it out. I just don't want to dose or remove all rocks. Dosing could kill my shrimp, and removing all rocks would really be a pain.
