Hi guys. 5 month old tank, starting to see some patches of dense, dark green algae. It's in darker corners of the tank and seems to be a slow growing variety. In closeup view the tips seem to be white.

I haven't noticed any of my crew eating it down.

Any thoughts on what it is, and what may eat it? I've been thinking about a flameback angel as a new addition and I've read they are algae eaters?

And i just noticed and algae sub forum, sorry about that! Tapatalk doesn't show me everything I'm subscribed to from some reason.

That looks like the same algae I am dealing with now, mine happened from ODing Phytoplanton, but Vibrant, and a ton of Astrea snails are clearing it up.
