In the process of cycling my Redsea reefer XXL 625. This is the first time I am using dry rock and sand as well as I am following the Red Sea mature pro kit. I had to leave town for family stuff for 3 days and missed 3 days of dosing the NO3:PO4-X. I am currently on day 15 of cycling and my parameters today are
PH 8.2
Ammonia - 0.8
Nitrite - 1
Nitrate - 25

I just don't know what this algae is, doesn't look like diatoms or dinoflagellates if anyone can help identify.

Pics are blurry but from what I can make out it looks like either sponges or encrusting coral coming back to life.
Maybe someone has better eyes than mine.
Sorry it's the best picture I can get from my phone have been trying for a bit lol. I currently don't have my lights set up since I do not need them during the cycle and building a floating canopy for them to go in. I was thinking it was possibly a sponge but was not sure as it is only appearing on the shelf real reef rock and not the carib sea rock.

Just posted some more pictures tried to get them a little clearer. Let me know if that is better?

I still don't see algae. Sponges or corals
I'm thinking maybe pineapple sponges? I was just reading a thread and looked similar. Never really had sponges grow like crazy in my tank before, I counted about 9 of them.

No pineapple sponge in any of those pics
Oh ok, I just saw a thread a guy posted and it looked similar than looked up pinapple sponges and was way off, but can't really find any other sponges that match what I have. If these are sponges anything to worry about with them, taking over the rock and or once I add corals, killing them?

Only reason why I don't think it is a coral is because I am using real reef rock and it is completely man made from the start is how they advertise it at least.
