Algae Id?

Any algae experts out there that know if this is hair algae or something else? It blobs up like ha when removed from water and placed on paper towel...

It is called Blue Ochtodes and is a purple Macroalgae that is very colorful and hails from the Caribbean.

I know this is way late, but for any future searchers - that's not blue ochtodes. Looks like Bryopsis (a total pest!)
