Hey,

Can anyone ID this algae? I thought it was cyano and tried red slime remover with no effect.

Cyanobacteria is actually not an algae at all. However, it gets classified as blue-green algae. Red slime remover, I think would be more geared towards dinoflagellates or brown slime algae.

Any idea what I have based on the pictures?
 
I will have to get back to you since I’m sitting at the pool drinking some microbrew, listening to some Jimmy Buffett music while posting so its very bright here.
 
It looks like dinoflagellates due to the bubbles coming off of it. Which would explain why red slime remover didn't work.
