Not exactly sure what type of algae this is, I have a little patch of GHA on a zoa frag which I’m well aware of. However I can’t make out what type of algae it could be. Tank is fairly new, about 2 months. Could it just be diatoms?

Params:
Alk: 7.9
Salinity: 1.025
pH: 8.2
Mag: 1490
Cal: 450
Nitrates: 2-5 ppm
Phos: .03

Any help is appreciated :)

A little hard for me to see but does look like diatoms. How’s the CuC looking?

Unfortunately my hermit crabs decided to kill my snails off. I had 4 nassarius snails and they’re all most likely all dead. My hermit crabs will eat some of it off the frag rack as I’ve noticed them do it. And I never get to see my lawnmower blenny too much as he’s always hiding but he’ll feed off the brown algae sometimes. Other than that I’ve got 4 trochus snails roaming the tank. It’s a 30 gallon frag tank. I was gonna go ahead and purchase a few more snails to see if it would help out.
