I wasn't worried but now this algae is making me so anxious. Here are some pics...can someone please help me id??

it looks like the start of the algae cycles . The cycles should be over in about a year with proper water changes

Nothing to be worried about? As long as we do regular water changes?

Yep you’re all good, I have 3 zebra hermit crabs for my 10 gallon that eat that algae up like crazy.

Yeah, you can blow/pick it off at water change time. Feeding properly will reduce the amount/speed it grows.

Throw a fresh water black molly in there. They are algae beasts! And easy to catch when no longer needed.

I have 1 blue legged hermit crab..lol

Not the same thing, but the only difference is size and color really.
Odd that it wouldn’t eat that stuff.

I mean he is just one little guy i don't expect him to clean my whole tank lol

Mollies live fine in salt water.
