Algae ID

Can someone identify this red algae? GHA is obvious. I’m 5-6 weeks in on cycling with live rock in Biocube 30G. I’ve also been treating with Vibrant for 2 weeks per recommendation. GHO waning along with CUC,s help(no fish).

Looks like cyano to me, common when using products like vibrant. What are your parameters?

Red stuff is cyano, green stuff is byropsis

Temp: 77, ph: 8.2, NH3/4: 0, NO2: 0, NO3: <5.0 ppm. , salinity 1.024. Bought phosphate test kit, might be high.
Thanks for the reply. Leaving Sunday for 10 days out of country and wondered if I should be concerned.

You need a new phosphate test kit. It may be 0 but you could be .9 which is pretty high. I shoot for .1

Just got one. Didn’t know API Saltwater kit lacked phosphate test. Tested a few days ago at Petco & was “slightly high”.

Don’t have petco test your water LOL! Do you ever see any healthy corals at petco? You need to find a LFS!

I agree. I have API KIT, just comparing results. Sadly, nearest decent LFS is 25 miles away.
