This little sprig popped and before I make an rash judgement on it being a nuisance algae, what is it? It does not have the feathery look of bryopsis. Caulerpa Mexicana?

Almost looks like the beginnings of caulerpa. If so, it’s not a bad macro. Many keep it in the refugium for nutrient control.
