bought it from the lfs as live rock .
once added to my system it looked “clean” compared to my other rocks , but it wasn’t white .
recently noticed it changing colour and kind of looks like uglies of new rock ..
The presence or air bubbles alone does not mean it is dinos. Calothrix for example is a type of cyano that looks very similar to dinos and will also commonly produce the air bubbles.
I would wonder if it is a diatom outbreak. Especially on newly introduced rock(if their "live" rock was just some rock they dumped in a holding tank the day before) that does not have good established algae/bacteria.
