Hey, can someone help Id this tried manual removal but it comes back and fast my initial thought was diatoms or Dino. It’s killing off my Goni and a few frags.

kinda looks like dinos or diatoms, not sure. There’s bubbles though… Bump

Those are chysophytes. Manual removal seems to work well for them. They are non toxic and usually self limited IME.

UV is good for Dino’s and Diatoms! I’ve used from last week until today an UV light 18w! I have no more Dinos since!!

Tank is a bare bottom 40b set up as a frag rack so it’s easy to clean I take everything out and scrub and syphon the tank but it comes back in about 2 days. I have a uv installed maybe it’s under powered? Was looking at a few other post about chysophytes talking about phosphate and nitrate but I have no3 at 10 and po4 at .03 should I dose no3 and po4?
